This Privacy Policy applies to all processing of personal data that we carry out through our corporate website (the “Website”) and the other channels detailed below.
EDUCO is an NGO of global cooperation for development and humanitarian action. We are present in 14 countries (delegations and branches) and have been working for more than 25 years in favour of children and in defence of their rights, especially the right to receive a quality education.

In order to provide EDUCO with personal data, you must be over 14 years of age. To this end, EDUCO reserves the right to request proof of age from the user at any time.
The user must provide EDUCO with current and error-free data so that the entity has the updated information and the data required, otherwise EDUCO will not be able to carry out the purpose in question.
I. RECIPIENT
The personal data of users who make donations or contributions or contract products or services from EDUCO may be communicated to the financial institutions and logistics and courier companies provided for in the contracting procedure and, where appropriate, to the companies responsible for the delivery of the products contracted, as well as to the Public Administrations in the cases provided for in the regulations in force. When required by law or, where appropriate, it is necessary, they may also be communicated to the Security Forces and/or the Courts and Tribunals or other competent Authorities.
Likewise, personal data may be processed by providers outside the country of origin, under conditions of security and confidentiality, in accordance with the appropriate legal guarantees. III. LEGAL BASES
a) Consent
In most of the processing carried out by EDUCO, the legal basis is the user’s explicit consent (especially in the case of processing relating to profiling) obtained by clicking on the relevant box. In the event that the processing is based on consent, it is expressly stated that such consent may be revoked without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out to date
b) Contractual performance
In the contracting of EDUCO products and services and in donations, collaborations and contributions, the legal basis for processing shall be the execution of the contractual relationship itself.
IV. STORAGE
Personal data shall be processed for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes detailed above and shall be kept for the legal period provided for by the regulations in force applicable to the category of data in question (in particular, in the areas of money laundering, complaints channel, tax and accounting).
Likewise, personal data relating to job candidates will be kept until six (6) months after the end of the selection process in the event that new selection procedures arise that match the candidate’s profile.
V. RIGHTS
At any time and/or when deemed appropriate, the user may request the exercise of the rights of access to personal data, rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data or deletion when the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. You may also request the rights of objection and restriction of processing in certain circumstances and on grounds relating to your particular situation, as well as the right not to be subject to automated individualised decisions (including profiling). VI. SECURITY MESURES
PIn order to guarantee security in the processing of personal data, EDUCO has implemented technical and organisational security measures to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of user data and to avoid its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing and/or access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, whether from human action or the physical or natural environment.
