We are Educo, an NGO that works in more than 18 countries and has been working for more than 30 years for children’s wellbeing and rights, especially the right to receive a quality education. We have more than 200 development, social action and humanitarian aid projects, accompanying almost 1 million children, especially those living in vulnerable situations, experiencing poverty or lacking opportunities. Whatever happens, nothing can hold us back: in the face of any crisis, armed conflict or emergency, education cannot stop. Because education is urgent: it heals, empowers and protects.
We are also a member of ChildFund Alliance, one of the main international NGO coalitions that focuses on protecting children and is present in more than 70 countries. Alongside other individuals, businesses and governments, we are a network of protection and safety that works to improve the lives of children, their families and communities. A better place.

OUR STORY
Educo is the result of the merger of two NGOs, both of which specialised in education. In 2015, we expanded our areas of intervention and influence when we joined the ChildFund International Alliance, a coalition of NGOs working to protect, promote, and defend children’s rights.
Over the last few years, and due to the instability and the constant economic, geopolitical and climatic crises affecting the world, which create an increasingly uncertain and insecure world for children, we are committed to emergency interventions, providing children with education and protection, as well as covering their basic needs.
